My husband and I happened to pick Marlow’s as a place to stop and eat on the way home to Chattanooga from Atlanta, purely by chance on their 20th anniversary 4/24. Wow - delicious - loved it. Writing this as I savor my leftover shrimp and grits Super friendly staff, very attentive, and the value for the food and ambiance was remarkable. 10/10 will recommend, would absolutely return and will be on the lookout anytime we are back in the Atlanta area to try other locations.

This is the third book club event we have had at this Marlow's Tavern location and I cannot stop singing their praises! The manager (Danielle) has always been so accommodating and the staff are amazing and so attentive . The food is always spectacular and the service is top notch! Couldn't recommend it more ! - HFC Atlanta

Great first visit here. We were immediately greeted and seated upon arrival by friendly servers and was able to sit outside. The server gave great recommendations and was efficient and quick with service. All the food was hot and tasty and the drinks were good as well. I'll definitely be back to try the burgers!

Upscale bar cuisine is how I'd describe this place. We have been here several times and gone through a decent amount of the menu and I believe we found what we like, so when we go back, we tend to stick around only a few items. The Ahi Tuna appetizer is so good, only gripe would be that it is too small, because we always want more of it! Haha Ahi tuna- Yes Crab dip- Yes Shrimp and grits- Yes Brisket grilled cheese- Yes Crispy grouper- Yes Asparagus fries! Yes We have tasted most of this menu and I'd say these are our favorites. We will definitely be back!

We just went to have appetizers, and ordered the smoked trout dip with pita wedges and the chickpea fries with aiolli. (which isn't technically an appetizer - it's a side - but should be an appetizer!) The smoked trout dip is excellent - the only one I've had comparable was on Mackinac Island. And the chickpea fries are so yummy every time! I've never known anyone else to carry these, and ever since I tried them, they're the only side I get. Other times I've been to Marlow's, I've gotten the fish tacos - super, the tavern burger - also super, the shrimp and grits- excellent, and what was then the house salad. It was very unique and flavorful, but they no longer carry it, unfortunately. That aside, Marlow's is a great tavern-style restaurant with a much more varied menu than many other places of its genre, and the food is consistently above par!

Marlow's Tavern has always been one of my favorite go-to spots, and my recent visit reminded me why. While their menu has evolved quite a bit over the years, the heart of what makes this place special remains unchanged. The atmosphere is as welcoming as ever—clean, inviting, and full of that calming, laid-back charm that keeps me coming back. The staff, as always, were friendly and attentive. From the moment I walked in, they made sure my experience was top-notch. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant that consistently prioritizes both its food and its service. This time, I tried the Ahi Tuna Salad, but with the tuna cooked instead of raw. Let me just say—it was incredible! The tuna was perfectly prepared, and every ingredient in the salad was fresh and flavorful. The combination of textures and tastes was spot on, making it a dish I’d happily order again. Even though the menu has changed, it’s clear that Marlow’s continues to focus on quality and creativity. It’s the kind of place where you can feel confident trying something new because you know it’ll be good. Overall, Marlow’s Tavern still holds its place as one of my favorite restaurants. The consistency in their service, atmosphere, and food quality is impressive. I’ll definitely be back soon to explore more of their updated menu!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday at marlow's and we couldn't have made a better choice. The food was absolutely delicious and with megan we had a very attentive and friendly waitress. Thank you to your team for a wonderful evening

I had the weekend brunch plate with a mimosa and the presentation and taste was 10 out of 10. The portion size was large (I couldn't finish it all) and it was absolutely delicious. The mimosa was also large (I hate paying 8-10 dollars for those tiny flute glasses), it had a good ratio of champagne (I also hate getting mimosas that are largely orange juice), and had ice, which is found interesting but refreshing. The service was amazing. I'll definitely be back for brunch.
